Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 08-26-2012 02:17 PM                     While I would agree that for the masses, 4K DCP offers a lot...but I would disagree that 4K DCP has the potential to capture the 65mm negative like the way a 70mm print can. Since they are not a CGI type film, they would not suffer the processes of going in and out of digital. I hope they are taking note of The Master not only having 70mm prints struck but the director is actively seeking out venues that are still equipped to run 70mm! Then you have Chris Nolans efforts and Raiders Of The Lost Ark getting some Imax prints I hope...
