I didn't think about it, but the print we threw on the floor was only 3 reels. (Brads movie - Without a Paddle) The main point of that part was for me to make sure they labeled each area they had cut with "A" will match the other end they cut with "A". Second cut was "B" would match "B". This way we wouldn't mix up those REALLY bad intanglements. I am glad to know that I did this properly with a print that I found one Friday morning that had been dropped the night before when the closer and an usher were moving prints and dropped it when they had just come up some stairs. Film was hanging on the coat rack, on the film can shelves, on the build-up table, and the floor of course. I have never fixed a print that was that bad, so using the MUT / Platter (strong) was a quick idea on my part that is of course now learned is the preferred way!  |  IP: Logged
