Did you adhere to their "cut here"'s without counting back frames? I work at a 4 screen with two two-projector booths that each has a common five tier platter. We only have a table to build on the side where the middle platter is very inconveniently sporting a broken disc spindle that I've been trying to get replaced but have not been able to locate. So, long story short, I need to build in-between shows. It offers very little time. I've done two reels between each set all day and just now have it done. I'm looking through this thread and it says no early run throughs? Every single reel after 2 begins and ends with a cut here, and in my experience those have never, ever, ever been on frame. I didn't have time to count back ten feet of film and still get the print built. Has anyone run this thing through yet? Are the "cut here"'s good, are some of them bad, are they all bad? I might be able to squeeze a run through in between the end of my earliest show and the beginning of the midnight, but I don't know that I have time to fix up to 8 bad splices if none of these things are right.  |  IP: Logged John Wilson Film God Posts: 5438 From: Sydney, Australia. On my print of This Is It, I had the following problems with "Cut Here" lines T3 - No problem H4 - 1/2 perf off T4 - 1 perf off H5 - 1/2 perf off T5 - 1/2 perf off H6 - missing entirely, but should be present. On H6, you can see the reel starts with a fade, but there is no "Cut Here" line. So I measured back 32 frames from the 3 on the leader. By 1/2 perf off, I mean the line is even with the hole and there is no indication whether to cut before or after the line.  |  IP: Logged John Wilson Film God Posts: 5438 From: Sydney, Australia.
