I don't know all the details and whether that means you must be on-line with digital, have your order place and installation scheduled, or just have contracts signed. The studios will NOT continue to manufacture 35mm prints just because some people didn't take advantage of the VPF deal. Well there's no need for them to make an announcement because they don't know an exact date. They can make that decision on a moment's notice, once all the big-boys are converted. Besides, studios are famous for not announcing things. Remember the VOD fiasco? They know what it is. There still are A LOT of people that do not like it, myself being one of them. Yes, there will come a time when there will not be a choice. However, I've heard people assume all sorts of other mediums like DVDs or video tape were being used when the booth was still projecting movies from 35mm film prints.
