You actually consider scheduling shows an awkward procedure? I can tell you that of the 334 screens I associate myself with only 5 of them run shows manually, and two of those are drive ins. The other three are single screens. It actually works out very well for my customers. Almost all of them have it automated which makes it's use more or less invisible. There will also be a tweak added to allow for upmixing 2 channel DCPs. V4 adds the possibility of a DTS license for optical, BNC and RCA S/PDIF consumer. It will also do analog and AES upmixing from 2 channel DCPs and 2 channel analog sources. The Dolby license remains an option for customers who need that for Fathom, bluray and other sources with AC3.
