When I was G.M.ing it, always ordered direct from Marjack (our concessions supplier...) and their prices were pretty damn good, if memory serves. Pepsi is too sweet for me. But when it comes to my theatre, we've had a national account with Pepsi for 14 years now and wouldn't change a thing! Coke had poor service. I also had to order every week and wait for delivery days later. My local Pepsi distributor checks each week of my needs, and delivers my product. I just leave a note when he should stock up more for the upcoming weeks. Service is great. I can call 24/7 and get a fast response. I never have problems with ordering and delivery, but repair service is so-so at best. For anything less than a "no soda at all" emergency, it can take a week or more to get a service man here. It can take an entire day or more even for total "no soda" problems. And, hey, it's not like I'm in the middle of nowhere. I'm in downtown Minneapolis. We have Pepsi as well, and every time I have ever had to call for service they have been out within a few hours, even for minor issues. I've never had to wait more than 24 hrs for service unless they needed to special order a part. You are serviced out of Burnsville, right? Never waited more than an hr or two for a tech to show up. I'm 40 miles from their office. Coke was a nightmare when I used them. Considerably more costly. Pepsi gave CWRU a lot of $$$ for exclusive rights to sell their product in vending machines, dining halls, and the like, and unfortunately, that's tranlated down to us as well. And we couldn't even weasel a free policy spot out of our distributor.
