That means it's registered in the United States. So, the government already knows it's here and, presumably, they've already checked it out to ensure that it's "Street Legal". They had the guy who is handeling the auction for the seller on CNN via phone the other day. They are looking for a collector or a museum to purchase the plane. They will also be doing extensive background checks on the purchaser before releasing the plane.
