Its the fact that she has a greater chance at having a wonderful and happy life. With someone she cares about, that can return the same feelings to her. She doesn't even need chance she already has it. Just her being a moderator adds to her stature of coolness.

I have the person but not the place, even if you have the right person, being in the wrong place can make you just as unhappy as being alone... I miss Scott and Sean and everyone else from Boston (even if I've never met you, just because you're a Bostonian), so there! [Razz]

And I don't have a better chance then anyone for a happy life, I've already been through plenty of difficulties and there are plenty more to come, life is what YOU make it. Plus I got a really shitty haircut today so life sucks for the moment...

You know you're just jealous 'cause of the mod thing, admit it Jen. I am MaDAM moderator. [Big Grin]

Yes, I am jealous MaDAM. How do you like that? Huh? Huh? Does that make you feel more powerful? To know that someone like little ol' me is jealous. [Big Grin] [Razz]

Yes, life is what you make out of it. I never doubted that for a minute. Its how you live it which makes it worth anything.

That sucks about the haircut. [Frown]

That sucks, and I know how you feel. That happened to me recently. I did the only thing a sensible person would do: I had plastic surgery and bone restructuring so my face would look right with me new haircut!

Back to the "musician" aspect ...

 -

Are male musicians REALLY a turn-on for gals? Jen mentions in the first post that girls "flock" to the guitar-playing guys ... but like I mentioned, I've yet to see it! If you ladies were to see THIS in a guy's room, would you be impressed, turned on, or would you run away? [Razz] (*Note the recently acquired Korg Triton Le-88! [Cool] ... okay, you caught me. This is just my excuse to show it off.) [Roll Eyes]

By the way, Jen ... you've got some tasty pictures on your site that you haven't shared here yet. [Big Grin] (Sorry, but I felt a little left out, being the ONLY male in this forum NOT to hit on you yet.)

I haven't hit on her either, and we even met in person. But she is half my age, and I am not a pervert. Speaking of perverts - 5 guitars in one room [Eek!]
That underlines my earlier statement: only pussies play the guitar. Real guys play the bass.

Oh but Michael, one definition of pervert is one who does the opposite of the norm. What is the norm here? [Wink]

Brian, there are different types of girls who flock to certain things. I for one, love your room/studio you have going on there. It would be my dream to acquire such mass amounts of music equipment. Only thing I would add to it would be a digital movie editing studio and I'd be in heaven. But that's just a "shallow" girl like me who would flock to musicians. [Wink]

Hmmm... guys hitting on me is usually only on this forum. In real life I'm just another girl. So I guess what I'm saying is that I appreciate any comments you guys give me [Big Grin]

Michael, yes you didn't hit on my when we met. Steve, he's not a pervert in my eyes.

BTW... just recently(today) wrote a new demo "When You Say":
http://jenniferpan.net/mymusic/yousay.mp3
(to download: right click, save target as)
4:34 min, 6.28MB

Its not a great song or anything... Kind of a filler for my cd.

And since Brian said I should post more pics... I guess I shall.. Here's something that's not even on my site.

(yeah.. I know... I'm just not really a happy person lately.)

Sorry Phil.... [Frown] Just not feeling it anymore. Kinda lost it a long time ago... Notice the lyrics of my songs. The four demos I posted up before were during a 4 month period. Just never got around to recording them until now.

But to make you happy heres a pic of me smilin'.
