But I don't know if I'd like it that much now. I had a 16mm print of it once I sold to an independent cinema in Texas for their late shows when they couldn't get a print. When I want to astound someone, I just run the last 15 minutes of that film, starting with the final roller skating sequence. It just keeps getting stranger and stranger and more and more fun. The animated sequence just comes out of nowhere and really makes no sense, but that's part of the beauty. It also leads to a great trivia question: Name 2 movies where Gene Kelly dances on Roller Skates. (Xanadu & Its Always Fair Weather)  |  IP: Logged
