Thanks Jen [Smile]

Michael, The only thing I have insinuated is that I am having a good time here. Yes, I had a hooker steal my money, no I did not have sex with her. Yes, I pay for a massage every few days. Believe it or not, it is a back massage only, not the kind of sleazy massage place you are thinking of. I met a very nice girl in Shanghai who drank me under the table. I tended bar at a bar 2 blocks from the apartment I am at. I met a Phillipene band and socialize with the members. They like me because they cannot speak Chinese, but they do speak fluent English. Yes I am having fun here and meeting new commie friends. No I have not paid for sex. My girlfriend is too "smokin hot" for me to screw up that relationship.

Later, rick

What, because he's done it in the past?...That doesn't automatically mean that everyone he meets or socializes with is being paid.

Face it...that's a rediculous and offensive insinuation for you to make.

WTF is wrong with you, Mr PC? We are just having a little fun here giving each other shit. You know, guys do that. FYI, I also know Mr Hamilton personally from ShoWest (like a lot of people here know each other), so he knows exactly how to take my little stabs. And apparently he has no problems coming up with funny comebacks. I think he knows that he is leaning a little bit out of the window anyway when he decides to share his adventures publically. <rude and unnecessary comment removed> Thank you.

Of course they do. As Mr Gulbrandsen pointed out, they are probably all secret agents shadowing foreigners like you.
Have you considered learing Chinese? If you do more partying, I mean business in the country, it would probably come in very handy and also leave a very good impression on the local people (and on your g-friend) if you know the language at least a little because it shows interest in the culture.

Mr PC? Uh-huh. That's good...and pretty much what I expected from you. You may know Rick but you sure don't know those girls you insulted and you sure don't know me and yet now you try and insult me also which, BTW, doesn't work on me Michael. If that's the way you express yourself...so be it. It doesn't mean I'm going to sit back and watch it happen though and say nothing about it...

Awwwwww, boohoo! If you are that sensitive and considerate, has it ever occurred to you that posting private pictures of them on a public website for people they don't know isn't exactly the most sensitive thing either?
And BTW, such activities are perfectly legal in many parts of the world, so your pseudo-moralistic insinuations in themselves are massively insulting to those who work in such occupations. Think about that.

Mikey, please read the rules again. The first one should suffice.

I know the rules! My first reply shows that clearly. But Wilson keeps attacking me. Sorry anyway (to you, not him, obviously). If Richard has a problem with trading punches, I am sure he will let us know. We don't need self-appointed saints for that.

As one of Michael Schaffer's friends I would like to comment that his comments should be viewed with the culture he is from
Many times on international forums the cultural norms of a specific society are imposed on the rest of an international group

I doubt Michael ever made any comments in a derogatory format and I assume that things got inflamed in a unnecassary fashion so go back in your corners and shake hands and comeoout fighting [Smile]
