Hmm I didn't realize that just by living in a country you're automatically associated with the ruling party. I mean, were those students in the Tianemen Square massacre back in the 80s all Commies? I dont think so.

Mike,

Without getting political about this... get real! You can bet they were Commies until they learned that there are other better ways of life in the world! There are minority factions like that in every country of that sort hoping to win their own and their countries freedom and to receive better human rights. Of course alot of those people that demonstrated that day were killed by authorities and many more of them are in prison. A great place, isn't it?

Mark

I'm actually not too fond of going there. From reading Mike's post I'll have to pass on China.

Chris... I'm in the fund of getting one, not being one. Mail order husbands sound nice. [Big Grin]

Get real? Well at least you seem to accept the fact that not all 1 or 2 billion of them are Commies. [Roll Eyes]

Ya know Rick, this whole thing about your girlfriend reminds me of another thread on here from a few years ago. I don't remember what the thread was originally about, but I had just started working out and I made a comment about how much weight I had gained. I was at 160lbs when I started and after three months I was up to 190lbs. Mostly muscle but you obviously do gain some fat while building muscle. Of course the "experts on everything" on here jumped all over that saying that it was impossible to gain more than 10lbs of muscle per year and blah blah blah. I didn't dignify them with a real response because I figure that them thinking they know everything is probably what gets them off at night so I didn't want to spoil their fun. The truth is a ate like a horse, 3-4 cans of tuna a day, at least a dozen eggs, two 50g protein gainer shakes per day, tons of rice and bean. to facilitate protein synthesis, etc, combined with heavy lifting. Steady gains of about two pounds per week followed. Telling them that would not make them believe me so I didnt even bother.

Same thing has happened with you, some of the same people actually. It seems that some people on this site feel the need to attack anything they dont have or can't get. Read as Girl or laid. I would be lying if I claimed to be a ladies man and sleeping with a different girl every night, but I am not going to attack you because of my problems with getting a girl in my bed. Girlfriend or not, as long as you are sleeping with her then good for you.

Back then I did five, which I would now consider overtraining.

If its so great perhaps you should move over there on your next trip. In short order you will find the crap laying under the glitz. Glitz is VERY easy to create and a great coverup!

Mark, I have an apartment over here, with my "alleged girlfriend". I have spent the better part of the last couple years here. I don't get the "commie" thing. Life here is no different than life in America. Oh, except I don't have to join some sort of club in order to drink a watered down beer like I had to in Salt lake city. [beer] Please tell me where the crap is so I can see it firsthand, I am looking, but I can't find it.

Indeed she just might be watcing you for her Government! How would you ever know?
You calling my girlfriend a spy????

As far as freedom and rights go and my "ignorance", not worth my time to reply.

I am into this right now (as much as I can do with a set of 40 lb. dumb bells in the truck - getting pretty big guns, too [thumbsup] ). Everything you say jibes with what I've read in the bodybuilding rags.

Btw, I go crazy on tuna... put it on my salads and have it for snacks. Drinking 2L of water a day. I feel great, have boundless energy, and I've lost over 20 lbs. in the past 6 weeks. My confidence is soooo high! I could run forever.

Chris, yeah, I know what you are saying
I could make remarks abouts Mormons in Utah, but that would cross the religious remarks line and the thread could be closed.

I am having fun posting my replies, remember I am a smartass!! hehe. I am here in China for 3 more weeks, I will post many pics. I want to find those Commie bastards though, and pose with them!

Oh, i just remembered, here is a pic of some of the commies and us having dinner.
 -

Anyway, I am off to McDonalds to get an egg McMuffin, then stopping by Papa Johns Pizza to make a reservation for dinner tonight!

Later, Rick

I've switched from tuna to canned chicken now. It is a little less for a little more money but it tastes so much better. I still use tuna for rice and spaghetti, I cook it in lemon juice to kill the fish taste. I mix the canned chicken with eggs, pickles and mustard to make sandwiches out of, plus with the chicken it doesnt seem to smell like fart gas after being in the fridge for a few hours.

Check out the recipe page on bodybuilding.com. A lot of good information on that site.
