Mark Gulbrandsen is this forum's biggest troll, Cameron. His attacks on me are always of a personal nature (my appearance, my weight, etc.). He probably has low self-esteem. Which would also explain why he talks down to everyone, making veiled jabs at other's technical knowledge while building up the perception of his. If these comments of his were coming from anyone else I would consider them a joke and go on my merry way, laughing; but Mark is not a friend of mine. He has made that perfectly clear... which is really amazing, since he still owes me equipment I bought from him over five years ago that he never delivered on. He's the last person who should be stirring the pot. Actually Strong does make a few dam good products... Including the platters Joe! Their parts department used to suck big time but has improoved over the years. They screwed up the X-L in some ways and improved it in others. I do not hate Tim... although he can think what ever he wants. I do think Tim is a pretty good technician because of feedbaack I've gotten from people he has come into contact with. I've always poked fun at Tim's hair from day one and it IS poking fun at... not making fun of... I have never to my recolection ever made fun of his weight. And to be honest I don't know how much he weighs since I have never met him. I don't owe Tim any equipment. All of that was shipped to him many years (about 10 years) ago albiet late due to job obligations that involved alot of traveling for extended periods. I would have gladly refunded Tim's money back then had he asked. He never did. The BNC had a slight crack in the pellicle which was out of the image area and didn't matter, I shot alot of film with it while I had it. Its an inexpensive fix anyway and at the price he got the camera and gear head for there had better be no complaints. Over the years I think I've taken what ever jabs and what ever else that has been thrown at me pretty dam well. Doesn't Strong have any sort of dress code for their employees? As an outsider, I can see where Mark's humor is in the above comments. It is sort of like mine, dry and sarcastic. However Mark you really do need to at least put a there or something to let Tim and everyone else know you are not serious with your post. As it stands those two posts are nothing more than personal attacks. Please take a one week leave of absence from the forums and use the smileys when you return so there is no confusion.
