Tells you how many friends are on as well as a few other things. Today I bought 7 Electrolytic Capacitors for $8.45 at Ra-Elco which will hopefully restore a Sony Trinitron Broadcast monitor I have back to working order. I have a PVM-14M4U that I got for $100 a year or so ago at a surplus fire sale. It's in perfect condition and has the SDI input card option. The HR Trinitron tube with type-C phospors give the best SD picture that I've ever seen. As for what I bought today, I'm still boring. Thankfully, the "classic" PS3 theme (the wavy background graphics without the Rainbow Brite™ disco sparkles) is still available. With that new sparkly theme on display I keep expecting Elizabeth Montgomery to fly across the screen riding her broom. Sony added some jog/shuttle Blu-ray/DVD functions to the right thumb-stick on the game controller.
