What's a watch? And why would someone need to wind it?

A middle aged married guy is sitting home one night and the doorbell rings. There is a cop at the door and asks if he might come in. The man invites the officer in and the cop, looking quite distressed takes a few steps over to a small table by the door, picks up a picture on the table of a woman and asks, "Sir, is this your wife?

The man replies "Yes, yes it is....why do you ask?"

The cop hesitates and finally says, "Sir, I have to tell you, it looks like your wife got hit by a truck."

The man nods and says, "Yes, I know, but she has a great personality and is a really good cook."

A woman is driving a Ferrari down the freeway, going about 100 MPH when a cop tags her on radar and pulls her over.

The cop is walking up to the car and the woman is fluffing her hair and unbuttoning her blouse. He knocks on her window. She rolls it down and says, "I didn't think cops gave tickets to pretty girls."

The cop says, "We don't... May I see your driver's license and registration, please."
