Shot that photo with a Zeiss Ikonta IV. 120 format film. Tri-X 400. I am testing out this camera to see how well it works.

I was walking along the beach on Presque Isle when saw the writing on that log. I laughed out loud. I just had to take the picture.

The phone number is for a cell phone, somewhere in Pittsburgh, PA. That makes sense. A lot of people come up from Da' Burgh to visit Presque Isle. We call them "Mup'eres." When you ask them where they are from, they say, "Mup 'ere from Pittsburgh."

The idea (of the phone number's area code) being that the "Mup'eres" must also be somewhat geographically challenged, given Cooper's last known location?

Randy--nice shot! Was that scanned from the negative or from a print?

Thanks, Scott! [Smile]
Negative. I might print it but I have to find the time.
Basically, I use the scanner to preview images and decide which ones to print. I put most of my best scans up on Flickr and watch the hit counts and popularity scores. After a couple-few weeks, I see which ones have the most hits and use that information to decide which ones to consider printing.

Leo, Mup'eres aren't known for intelligence. [Wink]
I think that's part of what made the scene seem funny to me. There's humor in the non sequitur.

ICK!! [puke]

If I was the manager at Lowes, I would have sent that employee home! Those aren't appropriate clothes to wear at work, let alone in public!

What's worse is she's Black and she's wearing pants for a light skinned White person. It's just, plain gross!
