These two pictures have had the greatest number of hits in the last two weeks: Lifeguard on Presque Isle. Bubbles at Sunset Point. Y'know, I never thought about it when I took the photos but I can sort of understand that pictures of girls on the beach would be popular but, for cryin' out loud! That girl in the second picture is only 13 years old! Its sad Randy but people are hornballs. I could tell the girl was young before I read your caption. However wearing a two piece suit that's about 4 years older then she is doesn't help make her not look older. They are great shots though, love the black and white. Shot all of the photos on that Flickr page with film. Virtually no digital there. (Maybe 5 or 6 out of almost 200.) The lifeguard was meant to be sort of a fashion shot. I expected that one to get a few looks but it was not meant to be a bathing suit shot. With the second one, I was shooting the older kid playing with the younger kids. (That Asian kid with the big stick was pissing me off because he was popping all the bubbles before any of the other kids had a chance to play.) Yeah, I realize that the older girl is cute but I never thought of her anything more than "cute." She might be 13 going on 30 but you see that all the time on the beach. She still wears braces, for cryin' out loud! BTW: Comments and criticism on my Flickr page are very much appreciated. The main reason I post on Flickr is to help me decide which pictures to make darkroom prints from. Of course, I like my pictures but it can get expensive buying paper and chemistry.
