Yes, the back one looks to be a lp-270. There aught to be a lot of those up in your area. They were the primary platter used by Mid-America Cinema back in the late 80's, Mid-America was based out of Independence Missouri, and one of the larger chains at the time. I used to work at Truman Corners, in Grandview, then Red Bridge for a short while, then Watts Mill for several years, until the new owners (hostile take over), lost it to the bank, and AMC. Then a few years later, managed I-70 drive-in. All of them had LP-270's except Watts Mill, which was reel to reel.

Indeed there are, Joe! I have not seen that newer blue model in person though. Just tons of the older red ones.
Plaza 8 opened with 4 originally, then got 4 more when they expanded to 8, one of the original 4 was from the Skylark Drive-In which was owned by the same company and had just closed. I don't know when they started making those, but the drive-in closed in '82 so it's AT LEAST that old plus probably 5 years. Used daily up until March of this year, it was my favorite... Always the smoothest running, least problem prone. It was the 3 roller take-up elevator kind rather than the 5 roller.
Anyways, it's now mine in storage and I hope to make use of it in my future home screening room.
So yeah, That lp-270 in Atchison, the 8+3 that Plaza had, The Skylark, presumably the Belt DI, The Trail still has one.... Pretty common around here indeed.
