Good to hear. May be out your way in September. Haven't decided yet if we are going to DragonCon, or Buring Man. Both are on teh same weekend, both are all kinds of crazy.

Just when you thought film was dead or they already called the priest to give Last Rites, I get a call from one of my steady venues to run a festival of features and shorts....on 16mm! If people still want to run 16mm for public presentation, surely 35mm is not yet gasping its last breath.

Now I watch movies and half way thru them realise I had seen them before but can't remember that I did.

Happy Independence Day.

Oh, PS -- I am on a crusade to get people to say Independence Day and not the 4th of July. The 4th of July? It's stupid. Imagine if we said, Merry twenty-fifth of December! or Happy First of January!! It's Independence Day...why are we not proud enough of that? Do we not say it because we don't want to offend the Brits? You know, our closest alies since they came over here and tried to kill us?
