Gord, why don't you stop by on the way back to the frozen north after Showorst and take all the remaining spares we have for them...... We need the shelf space in the parts room for parts that actually sell

Like Gord I have one or more Westrex 5000 and had it at least 8 years and still going well with full 35mm & 70mm [Smile] .

What parts do you have Mark in stock for the Westrex 5000?

We have quite a few new in the box parts left for them. Including.... Cams, Sprockets, Penthouses(new in box), Complete movements, some gears, and alot of other parts. I've only ever briefly gone through them myself. There is just the one pair still running in Wendover, UT that I am aware of... perhaps thats the last operating pair in the U.S., anyone else know of any still churnning away?

Worked with and like:
Cinemeccanica V5 - Can get pretty noisy, but it's easy on the film, and easy to thread.
Cinemeccanica V8 in 35mm mode - A slight challenge to thread, but built like a tank.

Would probably enjoy becoming acquainted with:
Christie P35GPS
Any Kinoton
IMAX Classic
Devry XD Semi-Portable

Want to see it, just for shiggles and gits:
Sony's 4k SXRD Digital Cinema projector (would like to see it in operation)

Hope to never experience in the future:
ANY 2k DC projector

I am really fond of Simplex XL's but for running 35, 70 and magnetic film, I've got to go with the Cinemeccanica V8. Years ago I ran a Vic 10 and loved it. I recently retired a pair of XL's for a single Vic 8 35/70 and 27 inch reels. [thumbsup]

Nothing wrong with DeVrys - even if if it was either an XD or he 10000, but we would shoot you if you loved Monees [Big Grin]
