No, it hit the driveway with sufficient impact to crack the concrete a bit, then bounced into the front lawn.

On a completely different topic, we present for your consideration pictures of the most putrid booth in the world:

 -

 -

presented as cautionary example of what happens when you dont patch the hole in your roof for 10 years. I do not enter this building without a respirator. [Eek!]
These were taken after the worst of it was cleaned up, but in the process the #1 projector got rolled down the booth stairs & thrown off the balcony...

Yes, I have pictures of the rest of the theatre, in various stages of decontamination. However, I did not want to go over the 2 picture limit. On the other hand, is this really a suitable candidate for the picture warehouse? If not, then maybe I can post more here if there is interest.

Basically this theatre was abandoned some time in the early 90s. Whether the roof started leaking before or after that I cant say, but when we found it everything was coated in mold & fungus. The first time I went in I caught a bad lung infection.

We are evaluating the feasablitly of restoring this to its former glory. Structurally the building is in good shape it just needs a new roof & interior. We havent decided whether to seek compensation for the destroyed projector.

Matt, if you have more pictures then please submit them with captions via the official process to the warehouse. Submit these as well. If you have pictures from waaay before it got bad that would be cool, too. If you can get a picture of the front of the building for the first picture.

But yeah, this thread isn't for theater and/or booth tours.

I am not at liberty to dicuss the name/location of this theatre, yet, but I will put together what pictures I can and send them in.

Is that your kitty, Brad? I want to get a cat, 'cept I'm allergic as hell. Only when they get older does it seem to bother me. Maybe if I didn't LET them get older.... hmmm..... [evil]

Michael Brown, your new picture (the purplish one) looks just like a properly color-balanced one would look like on my Sony rear-projection TV right now! (See thread in the afterlife)! It's frightening!
