Man I've been away too long.

When did Adam's picture change? And where the hell did that come from? Was I there? Was I drunk?

Oh right -- that must've been when I got my $16 speeding ticket in North Dakota. I told you not to take a shot right in front of the trooper.

Sam: That cloud pic is great! I remember as a kid we used to campout and try to make things from the clouds on a windy, moonlit night.

Looks like the ELR issue was solved decades ago. It holds two 22" reels (nominal 5000' but probably more with polyester), fixed hub in this case.

The ELR reels and shipping cases that the Inter-Society proposed were very robust and well engineered. Both Technicolor and Goldberg proposed very sturdy cases. Bobby Pinkston was the chair of the ELR committee, and was very aware of these Cinerama shippers and the ones used in Europe. What ended up being used by the distributors was compromised by cost-cutting.

John, were these Goldberg metal cases for Cinerama or 3D or perhaps both used them? (The one pictured is carrying "Cinerama Adventure" hence the logo.)
