David: That's a great picture to show the need for multi-megapixels when you care about image quality in digital imaging systems. Those slightly non orthogonal support wires on that suspension bridge would be very sensitive to showing "jaggies" in capture or display systems with lower resolution.

John, obviously I had to substantially resize that to fit the forum rules on width and file size. Suffice to say the original doesn't show any sign of jaggies or other anomalies. [Smile]

I know the "jaggies" that I'm seeing now are mostly from interaction with the LCD pixels on my 1024 x 768 pixel laptop display.

Let's see if John Pytlak's forensic science can figure this one out!

You've got some nastiness on the lens. I've had ths before.

Now why not take a picture of yourself and submit it?

Brad refused my picture because it had an urn in it. He said he had nothing against finials in particular, but personally he just really didn't like urns. I was sort of taken aback.

The camera lens. Unless this is one of those high-school projects where you use a large box with basically a pinhole cut into it and leave it sit for a long period of time.

No William, your face was not visible in your picture submission. If I permitted people to send in a shot of their backside, then lots of people would and that defeats the purpose.

There are quite a few backsides around here that I would rather not see, thank you very much.

Can't you just use one of those pictures of Dan Lyons that he says he's not using?

No, but if you really want I'll do a Google picture search and assign you one that I feel is suitable? [evil]
