I'm here at the Sun Valley Lodge with my computer plugged into the rooms new 50" flat screen TV and it still looks small...... its only a wee 2-1/2 inches on the screen Steve, are you sure your screen is set to the right number of pixels or are you adding some in to cover for Phil? However, if it REALLY matters to y'all, the "1 in 40" personally represents 8.5 inches, and unlike me, it's thin. My display is at the screen's native 1280 x 1024 and the active area is 10 5/8" (10.625) tall. 450/1024 is about 44%. 44% x 10.625 = 4.675" or about what one sees by measuring. Your new version is about 666 across the necessary distance.
