Did you know...

If you took all the sheets of gold leaf off the dome, and waded them up, they would fit in the palm of your hand.

Nope. Here is the North Dakota state capitol building. It is the only skyscraper in the entire state.

Gosh Mike, that is ugly!

It looks like a giant dildo or a multi-story prison!

The so-called architect should be shot! How disgusting and just plain BLAH!

Nope.
I said PRETTY MUCH, not all.

PS - North Dakota sucks. It only has one skyscraper. The whole place should be carpet bombed, buried, and then rebuilt with skyscapers covering every inch of the state!

While I certainly agree with you Joe, especially since it SNOWS and is COLD up there in ND; perhaps Josh would disagree with you. [Razz]

I cannot imagine ANYONE liking the cold, dreary days that winter brings to the north... especially if ya don't have someone to snuggle up with in front of the fireplace and/or in bed! [evil]

Hey I agree with you guys...that's why I live in Montana, where we have a much cooler capitol building:

 -

Here's the inside of the main lobby.

 -

Can't argue with you about the cold weather though Phil. It sucks. But when Spring arrives, we appreciate it a lot more than you Sutherners. [Big Grin]

Phil-
I don't think Josh is in Horth dakota right now. I think he is at Harvard, Yale, and MIT (showing jHAwk who's boss). So he can wait until the state is covered with skyscrapers, and then he can move back when the state is finally acceptable.

Just because I don't know how to spell "North" is no reason to bag on me. My education is progressing and one day I promise I will be able to spell most of the states.

What were they filming?

I'll bet that whole movie isn't in 5/65mm. It seems like that type of camera gets used only for high resolution live action plates as part of a visual effects shot.
