Its more rock instead of the "other" stuff. I really dislike the cold or anyplace that snows frequently... If the I meant Interstate such a road would be an East/West route located somewhere between I-40 and I-70 which would put it just south of the middle latitude of the country, say along the state lines that align with Kansas' southern boundary. But there is no Interstate-60. Apparently a local designation of US Highway 60 in parts of AZ. There really can't be a real I-60 interstate without a lot of renaming because federal regs preclude having an I number the same as a US number in the same state. (Of course, those same regs say an interstate should be grade separated, limited accesss, etc. yet Wyoming's I-180 has intersections and traffic lights. Most of these are self-taken. Seems like lots of businesses refer to being just off I-60 though if they give a map it's just 60 in a US Highway shield. I'm not sure I understand your point. I live about 10 miles west of I-65, 3 miles east of I-57 and perhaps 5 miles south of I-80.
