He's also selling a SA4; I actually want one of those for something; If he will send to the UK I might even bid for it, I doubt if anybody else will want it. I think they would be lucky to get 99cents! or 1/2 a 200! Is anywhere still using CP-100s? They never seem to have been very common, but if anybody is then it might be worth buying this for spare parts. The CP-200 doesn't seem to be in very good condition, it's anybody's guess whether it still works, or what cards might be in it, but again, to somebody who is running one, it might be worth trying to buy it for spares if the price stays low. They say they will ship overseas, and will accept Paypal, I think I'll wait until just before the auction ends, and see what happens. If somebody bids on the CP-100 and SA4 then I'll let them get it, but if there's no bid on the SA4, and it will otherwise probably go to the skip, then I'll put in a bid, maybe $20 or so. Of course, it would probably cost at least $50 to send it to me. I'd quite like a CP-200 to play with, but even if the price was low the cost of sending it 'home' (all of the Dolby cinema stuff was built in the UK in those days) would be expensive. I'm also looking for four Cat. 92-3 or 92-4 mag pre-amp cards, but I've no way of knowing if the MPUs they are selling even have any cards in them. In the case of the SA4, I don't want the card, just the case, to mount a different decoder in. I think I smell a rat, but I have been wrong before. A lot of photos, I really don't know what to make of it, ideas? I had a 16mm copy for many years. Originally made as "Tell Your Children" for school education. It was later re-released in the 1960s as the Reefer Madness where it achieved cult status!(that should explain the different soundtrack) One very funny film that trys far to hard to convince us that smoking dope is a danger because evil people can mix it in a regular cigarette and turn you into an addict on the spot. Being a Reefer Addict will turn you into a hyperactive mess that cannot control oneself, nor ones car (as you will definitly run some one down as you drive, because you are a giggling mess!!!). Reefer addicts are easy to pick as they have very dark circles under their eyes and move/ dance/ drive so fast and irratically they are a danger to all! An entertaining film that does not let facts get in the way and rules by fear! I eagerly await the selling price.  |  IP: Logged Frank Angel Film God Posts: 5305 From: Brooklyn NY USA Registered: Dec 1999 posted 05-29-2007 11:26 AM                        I once paired REEFER MADNESS and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD double feature; we needed lawn bags to carry out the money -- both in the PUBLIC DOMAIN (you remember the Public Domain concept...that quaint old idea that the studios have squished like a bug). Nobody got any percentage whatsoever. There was so much pot being smoked in the theatre you could get high just watching the movies (this was in the late 70s, it was 90% college students -- now there is no smoking of anything anywhere in the entire theatre complex). Actually it was a kind of faux triple bill --we ran REEFER, NOTLD, followed by REEFER again. By the time REEFER number 2 rolled around, that audience was ripped.....people were laughing so hard we were afraid we surely would need the vomit crew to come in when we closed, but nothing that bad happened, just a higher number of spilled drinks and quit a few roaches. Ran two shows -- got about 2000 per show -- damn how I loved those days, BV (Before Video). We could routinely get numbers that even the muliplexes opening blockbusters today would kill for. 4000 in one night.....PIRATES eat your heart out. So you understand when I say, I have a special affection for that ridiculous and hystrical (even when you're not high) little PD film! I just can't wait for some studio to figure out a way to claim it belongs to them and so make it loose PD status.  |  IP: Logged
