They were also using several DC-3 cargo planes to spray for mosquitos in the Florida Keys back in the early 70's when I used to go diving down there. I wonder if they still do or if the "Mangrove Huggers" put an end to that. They flew so low when they did that... I think just a couple of hundred feet up. Be kinda fun to see that low intensity arc lamp still work and hope the front condensor lens isn't all cloudy and cracked - and to still find carbons of that size. ..and I promise you that the INT assembly wasn't the Geneva Star movement that we have now, but it was a rolling pin variety - four pins on an arm that was attached to the sprocket shaft, placed across the flywheel which had two cutouts to allow the pins to roll through the flywheel to give the quarter turn per flywheel revolution. -Monte  |  IP: Logged John Wilson Film God Posts: 5438 From: Sydney, Australia.
