Andrew,

There are much cheaper ways to do what you seem to want. For instance, lots of restaurants (esp Asian from what I recall) have a rotating disk in the middle of the dinning table so people can easily pass along stuff w/o having to reach.

It seemed the Goldberg 6000' reel table had "normal" legs like a small round table in a bar.

This would be great to have to tow around behind the boat at the lake. Does he really think any one will send him $150,000 to build them something he has never built before. If any one does i want to know because i'll undercut him and turn tarps ans cardboard into a float for alot less.

The man is seriously cracked. Check out his website. Did you read his letter to Al Gore proposing a plan to "save" the polar ice cap?!

So, if you become your own country in international waters, won't you need an army to protect your country? Who's gonna stop those nasty guerillas from invading your island, taking you hostage and having themselves a coupe at your expense and harvesting all your pot plants?

Being the head of your your own country has a big set of headaches that go along with it....just as President Bush!

I'm just wondering where all the utilities are going to come from? Besides a power plant, water supply, and waste water processing, you'd need grocery stores, banks, car dealers, plumbers...

I was thinking the same since he lists being in Dallas, but I guess he could have an Oklahoma cell#. Still He's going to build it in Dallas or does he build on location? I remember seeing a 20/20 piece a few years ago about a guy in Hawaii that built his home on a floating mass of old plastic containers and the like. Maybe that's what this nut-job is planning on doing.
