John, what more can be said. To have Ken Mason as a mentor, and you giving your generous torch of knowledge to others, gives you an immortal legacy.

John,

I continue to refer to my collection of "Film Notes for Reel People," and am delighted to converse with one of its most helpful contributors.

And you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I just wish I could help you as much as you've helped me.

Dear Mr. Pytlak,
It hurts me so much to read about the latest development with your illness. I have been checking this thread in the hope that you will bring us good news.
I may not have met you in person, but from all your posts I feel you are great person and the world needs great people.
You are in my thoughts.

John

I followed this thread since the beginning.

Words are not coming out easily and in my case it's even more difficult since english is not my language.

Hang on! As all your friends here on FT you're on my thoughts and prayers too.

I'm with Christos, this could be your last post... for a while. We'll wait until you feel better and will be able to post here again.

Ciao

Antonio

John,
As with the others you will be in my thoughts and prayers. You are one of the classiest individuals I have ever met and your contributions to this forum, and more importantly to the film business are priceless. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: May The Force be with you, always.

Dear John

I am so sorry to hear the difficulties you are facing. If it is any help I have found in life that my most difficult moments often preceded something wonderful and surprising happening so hang in there, have hope and things may start to turn in your favour.

Regards Peter

Thank you for all the good wishes. I've had a great life. Just wish it could be a few years longer to see my grandson Ben grow up a bit. My daughter Katie and 4-month old grandchild Ben visited from Boston this week, bringing lots of joy into our home:
