quote: Brad Miller I wish I could provide a link for John, but unfortunately the info was on an email mailing list.
What I posted is all the information that appeared on there. It came in the context of someone posting a message on the AMIA list, saying that she'd heard a rumour that Ektachrome was about to be discontinued, asking if there was anything in it, and concluding 'I'm sure John Pytlak will be able to provide a definitive answer.' A little while later Alan Masson replied, beginning 'Standing in for John, who is recovering well from a mild heart attack...' and then went on to talk about Ektachrome. I haven't heard anything further. I did email Alan off the list, asked him to pass on my best wishes and, if possible, give me a progress report, but have not had a reply as yet.
Fingers crossed for a speedy - but not a rushed - recovery.
