We don't have mirrors at the record store I work at for customers. (we sell necklaces and other body jewelry). Penny Rose was nominated for the other POTC films ... not for an Oscar, but some other prestigious ones (BAFTA, Costume Designers Guild). I myself am in the middle. Bad CGI, especially when traditional effects could have achieved a better result, is most certainly annoying to say the least. In the case of the last two Pirates films I'd say the CGI was done very well.
