I worked with a guy at CANON that owned an X1/9... I think his has since been re-claimed by the earth too...

I would highly recommend them on a DISCO... I just haven't tried them on a really icy street though so I can't speak for that. You can ask these guys on the DAP Site if you'd like to... I think they answered my questions pretty well....

Thanks, Mark; My Disco came with Michelin 4x4 XPC 255/65HR16. The orginals are still on the truck and have 97K miles, but it is getting time for replacement. They wore well, but didn't have that great traction over snow, ice, off road, etc. I'm not really complaining though since they are for "All-Use" and have done OK for just that.
