I hate my new bifocals. Been wearing them almost a month now and what I hate most about them is that they have "sweet spots." It's so bad that I literally have to move my head side-to-side to read. [puke]

Manny,

I hear your pain!

If you get a pair of regular bifocals with the line in them, you will have a better time than with the "blended" type. The line is not good for looks but the entire lower part of the lens is the same so there are no "sweet Spots" in them.

I am up to trifocals and they are the blended type. You get a lot of neck exercise with them also.

KEN

I'm sending in my old pair to have them made as a standard pair, with no bifocal.

BTW what do I win for being the last person to post here??

Brad, tell Manny what he's won!

I still have my last pair of vision therapy tri-focals that I used when flying at night - lower third for the panel, middle third for distance, upper third for the overhead panel. Not blended. Didn't have to crank my head up and down quite as much. Still look funny though.
