A week later and I'm still winning!

This week we're in rainy WA, with at least six more Sony/RealD combos to do. Hello Puyallup, Port Orchard, and Vancouver...

Last night in Vancouver (WA, not BC). Going through the rain and snow to PDX then LAX and LAS tomorrow. Then it'll be time for a little non-digital film PM work...

Switching gears.

Here's a simple solution to the controversy over full-body scanners at airports.

Develop an enclosed booth much like those they use for bomb detonation chambers. Prospective passengers step into it, but instead of X-raying them, when the door closes, it initiates a special pulse which will detonate any explosive device that they may have hidden on or in their body. The explosion will be contained within the bomb-proof booth, as will the terrorist. This would be a win-win for everyone!

There would be no concern about racial profiling or pat-downs or X-Ray radiation to the gonads. The booth would eliminate long, expensive trials.

You're in the airport and you hear a muffled explosion, followed by an announcement over the PA, "Attention standby passengers, we now have a seat available on flight
number..."

What's not to like?
