For one thing, I was looking forward to being groped. It's not like anybody else is groping me.

I am with you Sam -- I have no problem with it, and it's free! -- ususally when I make similar arrangements, there always seems to be a charge. Are they going to let us pick the TSA agent? Do you think they might post their pictures in the craigslist profiles. I mean, it's always good to know what you are getting into. [evil]

With my luck, instead of a Taylor Lautner lookalike the TSA agent who gropes me will be fat, ugly..and a woman! [puke]

Y'Know... If they hired a bunch of female security guards with big hooters and dressed them up as "naughty prison guards" I bet they'd have guys lining up to be searched! [Big Grin]

Defintions: Really good sex is if just before you leave, she doesn't ask you for an extra twenty.

I like the new TSA scanner-proof underwear that is showing up. Companies in Colorado and Nevada are producing the things. My favorites are the locally-produced ones that have slogans printed on them like, "objects on screen are larger than they appear." [thumbsup]

No no, Paul. These people have no sense of humor at all; there is no such thing as "a joke" to a TSA agent. And they have the power to arrest you on the spot for ANYTHING they choose.

You put something they consider "an attempt to thwart the security system" in your crotch and you are in the holding cell in the blink of an eye, showing off what's under your humorous X-ray-proof patch to a bevey of those fat, ugly STUPID TSA agents. And then there will be no question if what's under that patch is indeed larger than it looks on a scanner....or not.

Nah, you don't want to kid around with these people. Seriously. I'll bet those funny figleaf shorts constitute "probable cause." They have been given absolute power and you do what they say or else you will be quickly in a situation where you have to PROVE to their satisfaction -- whatever that may be -- that you are not a terrorist. An instance where they don't have to prove you are guiltyl you are guilty until you can prove your are innocent. "Look officers....see, I've got nothing up in there; please put down that colonscope." [Eek!]

Yeah. What Frank said. Don't mess with those guys. They have power and it's gone straight to their heads.

I'm more inclined to either drive or just not travel unless I have to.

The terrorists have won.

Backlash is definitely building.

TSA is a huge waste of money. Last time we went to Orlando (October) there were at least 10 agents standing there WATCHING US GET OFF THE PLANE. Wtf??!

TSA - "Thousands Standing Around" or "Too Slow for Arby's". At least I won't have to deal with those wannabee feds trashing my roadbox for a couple of weeks. I have a PM to do at a theater that I can drive to. Next install job I fly to (unless something else pops up) isn't until ABQ next month...

You guys have a great Thanksgiving!

Who dumped a whole truckload of fizzies into the swim meet? Who delivered the medical-school cadavers to the alumni dinner? Every Halloween, the trees are filled with underwear. Every spring, the toilets explode.

Personally, I like the one that reads off the 4th Amendment.
