I get the walkie-talkie, but even if it were a gun instead it still wouldn't make much sense. As for the GIF below it... WHO SITS LIKE THAT? It makes it hard to suspend my disbelief. Opened in 1952, it is one of only three remaining casinos from the "Rat Pack" era. Its inconvenient location at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, despite being adjacent to a monorail stop, is surely one of the reasons for its demise. The Riviera, one of the other casinos from the era, may be next on the list, with its parent company in bankruptcy. Its hard to imagin shutting down a property that is so large. The buzz I was hearing is that MGM bought the property and it may be updated much as they did at the Tropicana.
