OK. I guess that could be part of the magazine. I thought he had something else between his hands.

I don't understand the ET GIF. Why does he keep going back and forth. Why is Spider Man on the bike?

..is that the old "E.T." game that was released for the ARARI 2600, or ColecoVision?

(..like the Bell&Howell 8mm GIF senario...)

No way, Atari 2600 E.T. was way more primitive than that. I get the walkie-talkie, but even if it were a gun instead it still wouldn't make much sense.

As for the GIF below it... WHO SITS LIKE THAT? It makes it hard to suspend my disbelief. Also might be time to change that bulb and re-time that shutter.

That projector is crap. The takeup reel is turning way too slow. It is slowly accumulating film onto the floor.

The Sahara Casino & Hotel will close on May 16. Opened in 1952, it is one of only three remaining casinos from the "Rat Pack" era. Its inconvenient location at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, despite being adjacent to a monorail stop, is surely one of the reasons for its demise.

 -

The Riviera, one of the other casinos from the era, may be next on the list, with its parent company in bankruptcy.

Interesting film, based on the premise that Lincoln
actually died from a serious lower intestinal blockage.

I was in Vegas last week and payed special attention to the Sahara. Its hard to imagin shutting down a property that is so large. The buzz I was hearing is that MGM bought the property and it may be updated much as they did at the Tropicana.

I like the feel of the older Vegas properties and hope that this one will be spared.

I don't think I like the new look at the Trop. It's very white; not a luxurious Bellagio white, but a cheap Ikea white. I suppose it could be worse and look like 1978 threw up in the Wynn.
