I only had time to snap the photo....didn't even see what the marquee said until I looked at it on my computer! I got it via e-mail. Everybody's got a wise-guy uncle who e-mails jokes and funny pictures to everybody in his address book. Right? Shopped or not, it passes the plausibility test. Looks like it's one of those quirky old mom-and-pop theatres, but it's modern in some respects -- they have 4 screens and they serve food there. It has a number of bad reviews, but some good reviews by older people who like nostalgia. I don't remember anything about the theater or booth. Our office was just down the street from them. For the locals, those tour trains, the horse and buggys, and all the tourists driving around are a pain in the ass. When you are driving and get stuck behind one it creates alot of road rage. I once had the pleasure of getting stopped at a light next to a trainful of tourists. I immediatly rolled down my passenger window and turned my radio all the way up to a Bloodhound Gang tune ( a lapdance is so much better when the stripper is crying ). My wife was in the car and freaking out because they could see her but not me. I locked the windows and kept her from touching the radio controls. We probably spent at least a hundred bucks in St. Aug and we were only there for about 5 hours. As for your radio thing -- were you in town the day we were? I only raced it twice (that I remember), first time, a mustang pulled up next to me, when I stopped at the next light and he finally pulled up there was smoke flowing all around his car. Second time was an old Nova full of guys, I was just cruising down the street doing about 30MPH in 3rd or 4th gear and they were being obnoxious and revving the engine and trying to look like bad asses. I slowly put the car in nuetral, looked at them and smiled, downshifted to 1st,then saw them in my rear view mirror as they were turning off the road and I was doing about 100 MPH in 2nd gear. The fastest I ever drove it was 145 MPH, top down, tears rolling across my face from the wind. It had a lot more power to go, but I was running out of road and had to slow down.
