On that sign, are the people getting shorter, or does the urinal move farther up the wall as you go down each line?

Apart from the obviousness in the picture above...what a horrible, horrible sign! [puke]

Yeah, that display has the unmistakable odor of business owner "self signage." Yet the slightly psychopathic looking hand made lettering has a sort of natural charm to it. The crappy composition (everything shoved too close to the edges of the sign face) is really what ruins it. At least the amateur has the excuse of not knowing any better.

When the design travesties are computer generated and manufactured with sign making equipment (vinyl cutters, routers, etc.) then there is no excuse. "Graphic designers" fobbing off displays set in Arial and distorted to hell need a vicious punch in the face. If the dude is getting paid to design such garbage he has no excuse; he has the duty to know better or get busy finding a different job.

As has become my custom, here's my annual photo of our concession crew. We have four "newbies" this year -- graduation is tough!

That's Alex, Taylor, Andrea, Andrew, Maddy and Ashton. A nicer bunch you'd never meet.

Why did you trap them in a barn? Did you murder them after this?

No, if I murdered them then I would have to get back there and sell popcorn, and that ain't happening.

We always ask the group for suggestions on where they want to take pics and this year somebody came up with "a farm." Got some cool shots on old tractors and other vehicles.

I do think it's interesting that today's photographers tend to look for the most rustic backgrounds possible. No problem finding those around here.
