Not many people even saw it. PAYBACK - One of Mel Gibson's best where he does his best Mel Gibson impression in a remake of POINT BLANK. As a rule I think Ben Affleck sucks as an actor, but I really like this film for some reason. It's faithful to the comic book, and has some really cool special effects. Unforunately it did spawn the piece of follow up Elektra. Also "The Money Pit," because I love the Wile E. I guess that could be true -- for some weird reason that movie doesn't seem to have dated well. For years I wondered what Gary Oldman actually looked like in real life. Everyone I knew hated it so I didn't bother with it until I was home one day when my parents had rented it. The three of us were confused by the bad reaction everyone had given it.
