Word on the street is that they had to wait till a bunch of the prints were returned before they could get their hands on one to play at this non-commercial venue. It's the only 70mm capable screen left in Rochester, with a pair of DP70s and DTS readers that were refurbished to play an industry screening of The Hateful Eight when its 70mm prints started making their ways back from theaters. Before that it was used exclusively for running 35mm prints on an incredibly limited basis. We're talking like once a year. I will be in attendance most likely, assuming work and other things don't get in the way, and am looking forward to getting another chance to see a movie in a classic, well maintained theater such as this one.  |  IP: Logged David J Hilsgen Expert Film Handler Posts: 192 From: SAUK RAPIDS,MN . The trailers at the head were a little beat up but the feature itself was nearly pristine.
