Release date is 31st October 2005 for the U.K. and 15 days 23 hours and counting. In case you have never heard of importing, it’s where I use the Force to bring mountains to me not I who goes to the mountain. Tom Holman’s 10.2 I’ve read about it well over a year ago…looks good, or should I say sounds good looking forward to it though I think the cost will be an arm and a leg or maybe a few legs after you take a second bank lone and cant pay Mr Holman back, he’ll send the boys around to "THX" you into a plaster body suit, get the picture…. This is why the new American discs are specially treated with a disolving agent which is activated when it senses being transported overseas. The Borg have nothing to do with this. Get your mind back to reality please. The discs are instructed to detect if the players run off of 50Hz or 60Hz power. If it detects 50Hz or anything other than strict region 1 (that includes region free) the disc becomes unplayable in any player. You have to have a region 1 ONLY player that runs off of US 60Hz, so you'll have to import a player as well and maybe a power plant. Even if you can get 60Hz power over there you still have to deal with the GPS devices that are built into every US DVD player. If the player does not have this GPS the disc won't work. If the GPS detects it is not in the US it will not work. You lose, like always! This movie will sound like crap with all of those random speakers you haphazardly placed throughout your garage or whatever it is. New DVD CAP Code makes it's debut with "Revenge of the Sith." Just so it will show up better on smaller screens, the dots will be larger than Jabba's man-boobs. However, if you play them in slow motion scan, the dots will spell out the words, "If you can read this, BOY ARE YOU A NERD!!!" Of course, I'll give it a try.  |  IP: Logged
