3 months have passed since I posted a rundown of Carmike Cinemas Christie/AIX DLP installations. This update shows all Carmike locations, which gives a better idea of how far the conversion has progressed.
Carmike and Real-D recently announced a deal to equip 500 booths with Real-D systems. So this list reflects locations with existing Real-D installations and others that, according to the Real-D website, are coming soon.

I'm sorry I couldn't make the list easier to read. The posting format would not accept tab stops to show DLP installations in another neat column.
Instead, the city and location name are listed. If there are any DLP systems installed in that theater the number of systems installed are shown after a comma to the right of the location name.
I chose to do this to show Carmike is a little past the halfway point on their plan to install 2300 Christie/AIX systems. Some states, such as Georgia, already have most of the locations finished. Others, like Arkansas, have a long way to go.
The (new) notations list changes that have happened in the last 3 months. Some locations have had full installs done. Others already equipped with a few digital systems have had additional units installed. 500 Real D systems will be installed over the next few months. Perhaps quite a few of that number will be put in ahead of Meet the Robinsons.

That list must be a little out of date, becasue the Carmike 10 in Huntsville, AL has been advertising all DLP projection for a while.
Both my latest update and the list I posted back in late October show the Carmike 10 in Huntsville having Christie/AIX systems on all 10 screens.
I should point out Carmike has some conflicting information on their own website. On each location's showtimes page the number of digital-equipped screens is listed near the top of the page. Some theaters clearly all-DLP-equipped may still list "zero digital screens," while others that really only have half the screens converted may claim digital is on every screen at the top of the page. Usually it takes jumping between the DCinemaToday website and looking closely at the sound/projection info on individual show listings for each screen to come up with an accurate number.

I have heard the Carmike 10 here in Richmond's South Side has gone digital. Did not see it on the list above, but a visit to Carmike's website lists almost all movies as digital.
Carmike's website lists that theater as being located in the SW Richmond suburb of Midlothian, not actually as Richmond itself. That location now has all 10 screens equipped with Christie/AIX systems. 5 new more systems were recently installed.

Your thinking on why you believe I have my "panties in a bunch" is entirely incorrect, but it's probably because you've misinterpreted my previous post. (My remark was a statement, not a question.) To clarify, my point was: if you would simply acknowledge my work then your postings might be more comprehensive.
Trivia? Seems more like "spin" on your part. It's certainly trivia to the people who have little or no interest, but no subject is trivial to those who have an interest. But judging by the frequency and average word count of your postings as well as the intensity of your opinions, I'd say that you do not consider this Digital Cinema subject to be trivial...and I think this is evident to most readers.
If you weren't so dismissive about my corrections to your posts and, more importantly, to my work, then maybe there'd be more respect between us. I used to think you were really cool and that you wrote with a great deal of knowledge and passion. (But lately, Mark Ogden's use of the word "bloviate" comes to mind...) I remember the epic letters you used to write to the editor of Widescreen Review magazine back when the Readers' Letters section was the most interesting section of the mag. But for the last few years it sure seems like there's this insane "competitiveness" between us...and it's annoying. But, [sigh] I realize I've contributed to it, so...I will strive to make a greater effort to eliminate the antagonism at my end. The rest will be up to you.
