I asked the manager what happened - turns out she had brought her baby to the show, found out at box office that we do not allow children under 6 into R rated movies, purchased a ticket for a different title and snuck into the R rated show with her baby . . . . her baby started crying and she was asked to leave, apparently she thought she had the right to stay in the movie she did not buy a ticket for.  |  IP: Logged Mike Blakesley Film God Posts: 12767 From: Forsyth, Montana Registered: Jun 99 posted 02-24-2012 10:18 PM                        People always seem to be looking for a reason to "call the news" these days. They're looking for their 15 minutes of fame, which they hope to parlay into a CNN interview or something. She appeared to be in an extreme rush and wanted to know how many movies tickets she needed to purchase in order to cover an 11:00 am to 6:00 pm time frame. As you probably guessed, this woman was basically planning on utilizing the theatre as her babysitter for the day. When we informed her that a young child required an adult to accompany them, she then asked if she could throw in an extra $20 for us to "keep an eye on him". Over the years I've gotten pretty good at spotting the moms who are planning to go home and have a quick "romp" with the old man while the kid(s) are at the show. They have a twinkle in their eyes and they're usually in a lot more of a hurry. Whereas if Mom is going home to do housework or cook dinner, she'll escort the kids in, buy their snacks for them, "get them seated" and then come out and tell us to call her if they misbehave.
