I was accompanying my seven-year-old daughter who was selling cookies door-to-door for the Girl Scouts. After visiting several homes, she commented on the different styles of doorbells: some buzzed, some rang, some warbled. We made a game of guessing what the next bell would sound like.

At the precise moment she touched the doorbell at one house, the church tower began to chime. She wheeled around with a look of amazement on her face. "Now that's a doorbell!" [Big Grin]

I was virtually worn out after a busy day with my two grandchildren, so at dinnertime I did not have a lot of energy left for cooking.

I asked them if they would be satisfied with frozen pizza.

"Oh no," my three-year-old grandson quickly replied. "I like mine warm!" [Big Grin]

My 2 1/2-year-old niece, Kelly, went with a neighbor girl to a Catholic church for First Communion practice. The pastor has the children cup their hands, and when he gives them the "Host," in this case, a piece of bread, he says,

"God be with you."

Apparently this made quite an impression on my niece. She came home and told her mother to cup her hands and bend down. Kelly took a piece of bread from her sandwich, placed it in her mother's hands, and whispered, in her most angelic voice,

"God will get you!" [Big Grin]

A two-and-a-half-year-old walked into the bathroom while her mother was putting on make-up.

"I'm going to look just like you, Mommy!" she announced.

"Maybe, when you grow up," her mother told her.

"No Mommy, tomorrow. I just put on that 'Oil of Old Lady' you always use." [Big Grin]

One day, Doug was playing ball in the house, which was strictly against the rules, and he accidentally broke a vase in the living room. "Oh, no, my mom's gonna kill me!", he thought desperately. He frantically tried to fix it, any way he could. But tape, glue, even Superglue wouldn't hold all the shards together. He finally left the pieces in a pile on the table, and went to hide in his room.

Soon, his mother came home, and he heard her calling him. "Doug, do you know who broke my vase? It's in here all in pieces!"

Doug tried to drum up his courage, but at the last minute, he found himself answering, "No, Mom, I don't know."

He cringed, waiting for her answer. "That's funny," she said, appearing at his door. "I wanted to thank whoever it was. I've never liked that ugly thing, and if it had not been a gift from your daddy's mom, I would have broken it myself years ago!" [Big Grin]

A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students. "Human Beings are the only animals that stutter", she says.

A little girl raises her hand. "I had a kitty-cat who stuttered", she volunteered.

The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked the girl to describe the incident.

"Well", she began, "I was in the back yard with my kitty and the Rottweiler who lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!

"That must've been scary", said the teacher

"It sure was", said the little girl. "My kitty went 'Fffff, Fffff, Fffff'... and before he could say 'Fuck,' the Rottweiler ate him!"

A city cop was on his horse waiting to cross the street, when a little girl on her new shiny bike stopped beside him.

"Nice bike" the cop said. "Did Santa bring it to you?"

"Yep, the little girl said, "he sure did!"

The cop looked the bike over and handed the girl a $5.00 ticket for a safety violation. The cop said "Next year tell Santa to put a reflector
light on the back of it."

The young girl looked up at the cop and said, "Nice horse you got there sir, did Santa bring it to you?"

"Yes, he sure did, " chuckled the cop.

The little girl looked up at the cop and said, "Next year tell Santa the dick goes underneath the horse, not on top."

Two brothers, one 6 years old and the other 4 years old were in their bedroom getting ready for breakfast one morning. The 6 year old says to the younger brother,

"You know what? When we're at the breakfast table...I'm going to say 'SHIT' to Mom"

The younger brother thinks that's a fine idea and they both go down to the breakfast table.

"So guys" says Mom, "What would you like for breakfast today?"

The 6 year old looks sideways at his brother and says: "SHIT, I think I'll have some Coco Pops!"

The mother without hesitation slaps the kid and sends him out of the room screaming. She then waits a moment before turning to the younger brother. "And what would YOU like for breakfast today young man?"

The boy looks at her and says...

"Well... it won't be fucking Coco Pops that's for sure."

Let Your Mother Choose

A young man excitedly tells his mother he's fallen in love and that he is going to get married. He says, "Ma, I'm going to bring over 3 women and you try and guess which one I'm going to marry."

The mother agrees.

The next day, he brings three beautiful women into the house and sits them down on the couch and they chat for a while. Later, he says, "Okay Ma, guess which one I'm going to marry."

She immediately replies, "The one on the right."

“That’s amazing, Ma. You're right. How did you know?"

The mother replies,

“I don't like her”

A Great Life

Two businessmen met at a resort. One who had recently retired was describing his life, "I get up late in the morning. I have a fantastic breakfast and then I lie down on my veranda and relax. I go inside for lunch, have great salads, the best coffee, and I go out and lie on my veranda again. When it gets dark I have a great dinner with the finest wines. I smoke a Cuban cigar. Then I go lie on my veranda again."

The other gentleman acknowledges that this is a life to be envied. Later he reported the conversation to his wife.

She asked, "What's his wife's name?"

Her husband said, "I'm not sure, but I think its Veranda."

Sarah: I've been asked to get married hundreds of times.

Miriam: (surprised) really?! By whom?

Sarah: My parents.

You’re All Wet!

Molly arrives home quite late one night and says to her worried husband, "Sorry I'm late. I had to come home by train, as I couldn't get my car to start. But I'm sure I know why."

"So what's the problem then, my mechanical engineer of a wife?" asks her husband.

"I think there's water in the carburetor," replies Molly.

"How on earth can you know that?" says the husband. "You don't even know how to open the hood or to change the time on the car's clock yet alone know where the carburetor is."

"Maybe so," says Molly, "but I still think there's water in it."

The husband then says, "OK, I'll go along with you. Let's check it out right now. Where did you leave the car?"

Molly replies, "In the lake!"

Is It Better To Be Single Or Married?

"It’s better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them." Anita, 9

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, "This kid is not so bright. Watch while I prove it to you."

The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, "Which do you want, son?"

The boy takes the quarters and leaves the dollar.

"What did I tell you?" said the barber. "That kid never learns!"

Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store and says, "Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?"

The boy licked his cone and replied, "Because the day I take the dollar, the game's over!"

A man, who worked away from home all week, always made a special effort with his family on the weekends. Every Sunday morning he would take his 7-year old Granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time. Just he and his Granddaughter.

One particular Sunday however, he had a bad cold and really didn't feel like being up at all.

Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter out. When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her grandfather.

'Well, did you enjoy your ride with Grandma?'

'Oh yes, Papa' the girl replied, 'and do you know what? We didn't see a single moron, dip shit or horse's ass any where we went today!'

The mother of a 17-year-old girl was concerned that her daughter was having sex. Worried the girl might become pregnant and adversely impact the family's status, she consulted the family doctor.

The doctor told her that teenagers today were very willful and any attempt to stop the girl would probably result in rebellion. He then told her to arrange for her daughter to be put on birth control and until then, talk to her and give her a box of condoms.

Later that evening, as her daughter was preparing for a date, the mother told her about the situation and handed her a box of condoms.

The girl burst out laughing and reached over to hug her mother, saying, 'Oh Mom! You don't have to worry about that! I'm dating Susan!'
