My vote for this years worst goes to Coyote Ugly. The first Sat. nite it brought about 250 customers, by the time it was over there were only about 50 left. Why would anybody make amovie about women dancing on a bar with their clothes on?

First off, I happened to like Bottlefried Earth. I am a huge fan of bad B style science fiction, I grew up on the stuff. Blair Witch wasn't far off from that either, and I enjoyed it for what it was. I think you have to accept things for what they are and not try to force every movie to win an academy award.

NOW to my choice for worst film ever.

.... IDLE HANDS... This is the hands down winner. This film actually pissed me off, and that has NEVER happened before. It was so formulaic, and it was almost a drop dead copy of Evil Dead. Just a bad copy of evil dead. I dare you to find a worse movie than this Idle Hands crap.

How about "Cemetery Man"? It's an oddball Italian film from a few years ago. I'm sure it's not the worst ever, but it certainly isn't all that far off. Cool poster, really, really bad movie. Then again, whoever thought it was possible to make a good love story starring dead people should be shot.

I liked the detective from The Cemetery Man. The one who would grossly overlook or misinterrupt the painfully obvious clues that Rupert Everett's character was the killer. But that ending's meaning was kinda of lost on me.

In the years I've worked in this industry, I have had the misfortune to exhibit some of the biggest pieces of crap imaginable-
Fresh Horses with Molly Ringworm-just pretentious junk
Half Baked-the most irresponsible film ever made. How a pro-drug film could be released three years ago is beyond me.
But I still think the worst film ever is Caddyshack 2. Talk about disgracing one of the funniest films of all time-I'd still like to know how this happened.

Worst film I have ever seen is from the legendary K. Gordon Murray, and it is the Mexican Film Classic, LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD. It has some of the worst dubbing, the worst singing (Little Red Riding Hood sounds like a Wagnarian soprano!), and the single worst costume and performance in history by the Wolf. NAFTA caused this to be withdrawn from many outlets, certainly for the betterment of humanity.

Runners up would have to be RABBIT TEST, the humorless comedy by Joan Rivers about a pregnant man (Billy Crystal), and the horrible comedy by Dan Ackroyd "Nothing But Trouble", with Chevy Chase, Ackroyd, Demi Moore, and John Candy.

BATTLEFIELD EARTH is profoundly bad, but it seems to glory in its badness. Definitely one of the funniest films of this or any other year. And if that doesn't prove my leverage, I'll just report you to the home office.

Dead Alive is a very funny and original film by Peter Jackson(Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners, and the upcoming Lord of the Rings). While very gory, it shows a sense of style not seen in 99% of the cookie-cutter horror movie garbage out there.
And Grease??? While not my favorite film, it's stood the test of time well enough to do very well in it's rerelease two and a half years ago.

How about Mars Attacks? That's my nominee in the category of "Worst Movie With The Most Stars In It." Saw it on a plane once,

Well hard to say the worst of all time is and your never going to get everyone to agree. for every movie listed so far there is someone somewhere that loved it. I am however surprised at some of the listed movies. Idle Hands? yes was a copy of evil dead 2 but found it amusing none the less. I enjoyed the original Blair Witch but the sequel BLEW! so all in all there is no accounting for taste.
