What's funny about this thread is that most of these 'bad' movies have good qualities to some people. Personally, I enjoy the old cheesy movies that were considered 'bad' at the time but for some insane reason I enjoy them.

I love "Plan 9...", for instance.

But Brad has inarguably the best example with "Queerwolf" though. There is nothing at all good about his one.

I'd have to put "Blair Witch" as a close second, but Queerwolf is the worst of of worst!

Worst Movie??? I was always told that one of my favorites happens to be one of the worst made in history. I truly love watching "HUDSON HAWK", because it just makes me laugh every time I watch it.

But a list of my worst... Hmmmm...:

1. DUMB & DUMBER (fell asleep AND walked out)
2. SHOWGIRLS (Great story... BADDDD ACTING!)
3. BLACK & WHITE (Should be CUT & TRASH. Did they take what was on the 'cutting room' floor and make this ?"

"Dungeons & Dragons". Maybe not the worst film ever made, but goddamn close. Watching this movie is like paying Courtney Solomon to kick you in the crotch. Repeatedly. For two hours.

Worst movies ever:

I walked out on "Firewalker" with Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett, Jr.

Absolute worst might be "Queerwolf," but could also be "Monster Dog," a werewolf film with Alice Cooper. The movie was made in Spain and Cooper only participated because they told him it would never make it to this country. Alas, with the "miracle" of video ...

BTW--I love "Plan 9." The genius of Ed Wood is that your mind oscillates about 60 cycles of "This man is a genius/This man is an idiot" every minute. A most disconcerting viewing experience.

Left Behind, the Christian movie starring Kirk Cameron. Man did this one bring out the weirdos. This is one bad bad movie. Avoid it like the plague! I heard the Omega Code was just as bad, but I didn't have to watch that one.

Oh, Come On!!!! Queerwolf and Plan 9 and Rocky Horror are among my favorites!!!!
The worst ones are Lawnmower Man...YUK! The ONLY film I actually fell asleep in the theatre.

Ooops! I forgot, I have yet to stay awake in the theatre or on tv for 2001. BORING!

I am shocked to hear so many people have actually seen Curse of the Queerwolf!

That movie was actually shot on Super 8mm Ektachrome 160 (ugh!) silent stock and has got to be one of the worst films ever made technically. Still, for those who can enjoy bad filmmaking at it's worst, the film is pretty funny.

During the week I borrowed 'Charlie's Angels' On video. I watched the first 15 minutes of it and then gave up - it was so bad. In hindsite I should have asked for a refund from the video store I frequent.

I don't know if it is the worst film I have ever seen because I couldn't bring myself to see it but it must be up there with the worst.

I have seen Ed Wood films mentioned in this thread and I have seen MST3K mentioned, however one movie has not been mentioned yet. I have to put my vote in for "Manos, The Hands Of Fate". This movie is the biggest pile of dog poopie

I have ever seen, but it lent itself to be the funniest episode of MST3K, IMHO. Even Torgo ended up being a character from time to time on MST3K. Now, if the DVD of this would come out...

After further consideration I have a nominee for absolute worst film of all time

MOULIN ROUGE

Reason: Overdone sets, awful mishmash of former 70s hits, but worst of all is disorientating fast editing.

This film sets out to single-handedly ruin the genre of Musical Comedies and succeeds admirably.

Baz Luhrmann is a musical terrorist!

'Cookoo Patrol' gets my vote. I'd never heard of it either, but it was shown a a meeting of a society mainly concerned with 9.5mm film in London a few years ago. It was not shown on 9.5mm, but an absolutely mint 35mm print, run on a DeVry portable. I wonder if this rubbish was ever released; it does have an entry on the IMDB. Maybe I saw the only print of it.
