Godzilla 2000 was a Toho production. They did not actively TRY to make it look cheesy - instead they tried to make it look like, well, a Godzilla movie, which is a genre of cheeziness all its own. The reason the Godzilla franchise maintains its reputation for corny sci-fi is how seriously the creators of the film took the moderately ridiculous subject. Just listen to the commentary track on the US DVD and pay attention to the writer of the English language script expounding about the character dynamics and philosophical dilemmas underlying Godzilla 2000's story. What astonishes most people about Godzilla 2000 was how much it cost: $11,000,000. The localization for US markets was $5,000,000. Any bozo could dress up in a monster suit and make a bad movie - Toho, however, elevates it to high art. -Tw? ------------------

Worst movie ever madeTITANIC Just the theme tune makes me sick. By the end of the marathon film you want
the hole cast to go down with the ship. Who can forget the part when Our Hero's are
running up the corridor with the water chasing them. The special effects guys cut the top of Kate's head off. GOOD SHOW I SAY :d It would have been much better if they had a
mad axe man chopping bits off Leonardo. I would pay to see that over & over I can't be the only one who hates this Film.

With all of these experts here, how could you folks possibly have missed:"Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death" "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama" One of us doesn't like "Cemetery Man," it's probably a matter of taste, but this HAS to be one of the strangest movies of all time, bar none. I have most of the movies mentioned in this thread in my library and, for the sake of completeness, must instigate a search for the remainder. Of recent offerings, I liked Final Destination, esp. Reel 1.
