I never met him,never spoke to him and only corresponded with him by e-mail on one occasion but I felt as though I knew him well through his posts here on Film-Tech. He was obviously a man of great knowledge ,experience,wisdom and humour. I am sure that his passion for Film Done Right will live on through Josh's work in the future. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.  |  IP: Logged John T. I went immediately to this thread. So many others have said it all so well that I can find no adequate words to express my sadness and condolences to Paul's family and friends. I am not a regular contributor to these forms. I usually just add my two cents whenever I see a subject I can contribute too. But I always check the forums just about everyday, and read what all of you are saying. When I logged in this morning and saw the news, I was just as shocked as all of you. I always looked forward to reading Paul's posts. Just from his manner and seeing his pictures, he seemed like the kind of person that would be great to know. I am sorry that I never had the chance to meet or talk with him personally, but I am glad that I at least got to share in the conversations on this forum. My deepest sympothies to his family and friends during this time. I know that he will definitely be missed. Paul was indeed on of the "Good Guy's" of film-tech. I will miss his sense of humor and his quick wit. Make no doubt about it, Paul will be watching over all of us. One day we will meet again. Understandably, having both Paul and his Dad pass away on the same day has put a lot of stress on the family. I spoke today with the owner of the radio stations Paul worked for. He says that he's also in touch with Roger, but no local memorial has been planned as yet. He says he'll call if/when something is arranged.  |  IP: Logged Jeremy Fuentes Mmmm, Dr. Pepper! I'm deeply saddened and my heart goes out to everyone here as well as Paul and his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul. He came by on his way to Showest in 2000. We had a very long conversation and he came out to take a look at the Drive In. I must say I'll never look at a Hot Dog quite the same again. All our prayers go out to his family. The movies should be running much better up their with Paul keeping a watch over them.
