and the winner for worst EVER MySpace profile of all time goes to...

This emo chick

Seriously WTF? Beware it will take several minutes on a high speed connection to load all of the CRAP on this page, you will need 2 monitors ganged together running a fairly high resolution to prevent horizontal scrolling and be sure you have the sound turned on!

Damn! That's one hell of a bandwidth hogging profile! My DSL connection can download as fast as 3 million bits per second. But I gave up on loading that screwed up profile page after about a minute.

It wasn't the crushing amount of photos to download. The real big turnoff was the absolute cacophony of numerous audio tracks all trying to play at once.

The CIA could probably use that profile page as an instrument of torture to pry secrets out of terrorists.

Emo people are usually suicidal, aren't they? Is she trying to make everyone else suicidal with that page? I wish emo people would just follow through and commit suicide so the planet can be happy.

The first time I heard that "emo" term, it made me think of that wierd comedian Emo Phillips. Funny thing is the folks following the "emo" fad kind of dress like the guy.

I guess "emo" is supposed to be a newer, yet less depressing version of "goth." Anyone who is going to proclaim through both music and fashion how EMOtional they are, should also be sensitive to the download limits that translate as sane. I shouldn't need a research university class 100Gbit/sec Internet connection to download a damned page. The page should not require a month's worth of reading to comprehend it all either! Gawd!

Emo sites can be tolerated because as soon as I see one I stop the browser from loading all that crap and go on to the next page.

The thing that bugs me for some reason are the "View More Pictures". And this usually happens with the people I went to high school with. I go to that part of the page and its a free for all on how many pictures they can take with them holding some type of alcohol in their hand. Nothing against booze in general but I've just seen so many of those type of pictures coming from people I grew up with or at some point thought they were cooler than that. But I guess that's the cool thing to do, and flaunt around how much one can party.

Don't forget about the MySpace TOS requiring at 51% or more pictures to be taken in the bathroom via a mirror. [Razz]

I thought that was in the Film-Tech TOS, but then I read it again and it turns out that Film-tech requires at least 51% of new threads to be about the bathroom. My mistake.

Yes that link seems to violate the "rules" for vague titles/info. But remember, Brad IS Film-Tech's administrator, the boss, the head honcho, the head cheese, the big enchilada, the big kahuna, the top dog, our leader, and last but not least, the Grand-Pooh-BAH. [sleep] [Razz] [evil]
