Couldn't hold food down for three days. Now home again, on a full liquid diet -- no solid foods. Hopefully the chemo will "kick in" soon, and open up some of those tumor-caused obstructions in my small intestine. Things could be worse... it could be raining. LUV YUR positive outlook during one of life's MOST difficult trials. I'm still on a full liquid diet (no solid foods) since January 1. Even so, my nurishment is having a tough time getting through my small intestine, due to partial blockage -- tend to get cramps by evening. Just completed my third round of chemotherapy, which hopefully will open things up again. Fortunately, no serious side effects from the chemo, other than fatigue -- I need to take at least one long nap each day. Some really happy news is that we became grandparents, as Katie and Jim had their first child, Benjamin John, born on January 12. From what I've heard of chemotherapy, if the only real side effect is tiredness, it looks like your system is holding up well. I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything on the forum but since John's illness, I've been thinking a lot about him and his relationship with all of you. Well most of you know the relationship that John and I had at Kodak, especially through those Kodak "ScreenCheck" days!. We shared an office together and he was my boss for many years. My Mentor. I retired 3 years ago, after 32 years at the Big Yellow Box and JP was a BIG influence on my carreer there. He is one hell of a smart guy and great teacher. I want to let you all know that John thinks very highly of all of you on the Film Tech Forum. A lot of the decisions made to print film manufacturing and tech support came from the discussions on this very forum. Keep him in your prayers and.... John, from Dianne and myself.... GET WELL SOON!
